Alexandra Mora Hernández, MD, is a physician and surgeon, specialist in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, with more than 35 years of clinical and surgical experience devoted to the anatomy, function, surgery and rejuvenation of the face and neck.

Her practice focuses on facelift and neck lift —including the Deep Plane Facelift—, aesthetic, ultrasonic and functional rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and periorbital surgery, lip lift and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation, from a structural perspective oriented toward preserving the identity of each face.

She graduated as a physician from the Universidad del Rosario, where she also completed her specialization in Otolaryngology. Her training in facial surgery included advanced clinical training under the mentorship of Dr. Fernando Pedroza Campo, and she subsequently earned the title of Specialist in Facial Plastic Surgery from the Universidad CES.

For twenty-three years she was Coordinator of the Department of Otolaryngology at Clínica del Country, an institution with which she maintains a surgical and hospital affiliation. Within the Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía Plástica Facial y Rinología —SCCPFR— she served as Board Member, National Treasurer and, between 2017 and 2019, its President. She is currently Vice President of Facialis Academy and Founder and Medical Director of CosMedicals, in Bogotá.

Her international scientific activity is documented from 1997 —as faculty and speaker at international facial plastic surgery congresses— and her academic work has been published by international medical publishers.

She is the creator of Aesthetic Integrity™, a diagnosis-guided clinical approach to facial rejuvenation, and of the Facial Integrity Scale™ (FIS™), a proposed structural framework for clinical decision-making. She is the author of Aesthetic Integrity™: A New Way of Thinking About Facial Rejuvenation.

Rejuvenation does not mean transforming a face, but understanding its architecture and preserving what makes it recognizable.
