A medical decision before a travel decision
The first step is not to book a flight. It is to understand whether the concern can reasonably be assessed remotely and whether an in-person consultation in Bogotá might be appropriate.
Depending on the case, relevant medical information, previous surgical history, photographs or earlier reports may be requested before the virtual assessment.
A virtual assessment offers guidance. It does not replace the physical examination needed to confirm a surgical indication.
The indication is confirmed in person
Once in Bogotá, the face, nose, eyelids, neck or other area of interest is examined directly. Anatomy, function, tissue quality, previous procedures and individual goals are reassessed before a treatment plan is confirmed.
If surgery is indicated, the procedure, the anesthesia, the perioperative requirements and the postoperative plan are defined for each case.
Recovery determines the itinerary
