Alexandra Mora Hernández, MD, is an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon with more than 35 years of clinical and surgical experience devoted to the face and neck.

Before a decision, clarity.

What is different about your approach to surgery?
Before proposing a procedure, I perform a structural diagnosis of the face. The decision does not begin with a technique, but with understanding what that face needs, what must be preserved and how far intervention is warranted. This is the principle of Aesthetic Integrity™.
Will rejuvenation make me look like a different person?
That is not the aim. The goal is for you to continue to recognize yourself: to look refreshed while preserving facial identity, not to become someone else.
Do you always recommend surgery?
No. Part of my work is saying clearly when surgery is not the best option, when it is better to wait and when a non-surgical procedure is enough. Diagnostic honesty is part of the outcome.
Do you offer a second opinion?
Yes. A second opinion makes it possible to review the diagnosis before reviewing the technique, and can confirm, modify, postpone or rule out an indication.
Which languages do you offer consultations in, and do you see international patients?
Care is offered in Spanish, English and French. For international patients, a virtual consultation allows preliminary guidance before traveling; the definitive indication is confirmed in person.
